The Child Development Center was established in 1985 and offers classes for children ages 9 months to 5 years. The curriculum framework is based upon Gardner’s Multiple Intelligence Approach and the Florida Department of Education’s Pre-Kindergarten’s Education Standards. Our philosophy of education at The Child Development Center revolves around a balance of:

• Developmentally appropriate climate that focuses on exploration, discovery, and social interaction
• Hands on learning through play activities
• Encouragement of creative thinking
• Introduction of pre-academic skills
• Open ended learning
• Child directed as well as planned presentations spontaneous discussions and activities

We believe that the Child Development Center is a ministry to both the child and their family. We believe:
